New Development in Marbella - Puerto Banus on the Costa del Sol

Situated immediately to the west of Marbella, at the entrance to the Golden Mile, is the Puerto Banús marina first opened in 1970 and now long since associated with large yachts, luxurious boutiques and nightclubs, beautiful people and famous faces. Puerto Banús also draws millions of non-famous visitors, and besides berths for 915 yachts its lined with luxurious apartments, trendy restaurants and nightclubs, as well as top-brand boutiques. The area is famous as a nightlife and leisure centre, and besides luxury outlets its also home to one of the largest El Corte Inglés department stores in Spain. Less well-known are the excellent beaches of Puerto Banús, complete with fish restaurants, casual chiringuito bars and trendy beach clubs such as Ocean Club.
